The painting was inspired by my reflections on 1 Timothy 1:12-17. I thank God for all the graces in my life; "who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service" (verse 12).

Come Holy Spirit, Come

The retreat was to lead up to Pentacost. And I had begun to form this picture in my mind on the flight to Chiang Mai as a form of an opening prayer for the retreat.

I was stunned when I saw how similar the picture in my mind was to the stained glass window in the main chapel at 7 Fountains. 7 Fountains is named as a reference to the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.
