La Foresta. 36 inches x 18 inches. Acrylic on canvas. 2011.La Foresta is one of four sanctuaries (including Poggio Bostone, Greccio and Fonte Colombo) in the Rieti Valley, Italy where St Francis of Assisi spent much time in prayer.
La Foresta was my favourite, perhaps because it was a cheerful, sunny morning when I visited in April; hence my take of the place with these colourful rooftops.
